Coming in as the fifth member of the 2018-19 men’s basketball recruiting class, coach Matt Sanders announced the signing of John Beasley, a 6’7” center from Omaha, Nebraska.
A four-year player for the Omaha Roadrunners, Beasley helped his team to a National Christian Homeschool Basketball Championship. During his senior season, Beasley averaged 6.1 points and 5.7 rebounds per contest.
John plans to study Biblical Counseling and Children’s Ministry in hopes of becoming a counselor for troubled teens.
“We are so excited to have John” said coach Sanders. “He has such a tremendous heart for the lord and truly loves people, which will translate to this team so well! John brings a tall lanky frame and a ton of ability and no limit to how good he can be on the court for us. He can face up to the basket and score, and also with his back to the basket. He comes from a very basketball rich family and is extremely well trained.”
