We want to thank you for visiting the Athletic Department at Calvary University. Calvary University has held true to its biblical foundation and excellence in education for the past eighty-four years. Calvary’s mission is to prepare students to go out and serve in the church and the world. We are committed to the task of creating godly leaders for tomorrow. The Athletic Department strives to enhance the mission of the school by providing quality programs that promote servant leadership, academic excellence, athletic excellence, and the opportunity to take God into the athletic arena for lifelong impact. Athletics play a large role on our college campus, and our teams continue to grow and improve. Calvary University offers four intercollegiate sports at the varsity level: men’s and women’s basketball, men’s soccer, and women’s volleyball. Calvary University is a DII member of the National Christian College Athletics Association (NCCAA) and competes within the Midwest Christian College Conference, a league of fellow Christian colleges from Iowa, Kansas, and Missouri. Our goal as coaches and leaders at Calvary University is to mentor student-athletes whose lives exemplify Christ-like attributes both on and off the court. We strive to recruit and develop the best student-athletes that will excel in competition, but our largest goal is to teach biblical principles in all practices and athletic competitions. We challenge our student-athletes to use their God-given gifts to disciple others and to become positive Christian role models. Our goal for each team is to perform at a high level of excellence in competition to the glory of God. We hope you enjoy your visit, whether you’re a prospective, current, or past student.
