Coach Winston Lewis joined Calvary University in 2024 as head coach for the CU Warriors men’s soccer team. Coach Lewis came to Calvary with a wealth of knowledge and love for the game of soccer. He has an impressive soccer resume of awards and coaching accolades, including owning his own soccer training program Peak Potentional Soccer, LLC in the Kansas City area, as well as spending time as a professional and semi-professional player.

Winston attended Huntingdon College in Alabama on a soccer scholarship, where he earned to seasons of NAIA All-American team awards. As a coach, Lewis has had an incredibly successful career. While coaching at Ursuline Academy, in New Orleans, Louisiana, Coach Lewis led the team to the following: Division II-District 9 Undefeated District Champs in 2010, 2012, and 2013;  Division II State Quarterfinalists in 2006, 2012, 2014, and 2016; and the following tourment awards: 2011-2015 Champions, (Bronze Division) Country Day/Dominican Soccer Classic; 2012-2015 Champions, (Bronze Division) Mandeville H.S. Holiday Classic; and 2014 Champions Captain Shreve H.S. Winter Classic. While coaching at the Mandeville Soccer Club, he lead his teams to (3) Louisiana State Cup Semi-Finalists, (4) Finalists, (2) State Championships, and (1) Regional Quarterfinalist. While coaching the LA Fire Juniors, Winston brought the team (6) State Quarterfinalists, (4) State Semifinalists, (4) State Finalists, (4) State Champions, (2) Regional Quarterfinalists, (1) National Championship qualifier, and (1) National Championship. While coaching at the TX City Soccer Club, his U19 boys team were State Finalists U19 Boys EDDOA (Super II) and his U18 girls team was Unbeaten Second Round U18 Girls EDDOA (Competitive Division). While coaching at Trinity Episcopal School, Lewis led the team to (3) Ivy League Boys 8th Grade Metro Championships, (3) finalist berths, (3) undefeated seasons, and (6) Ivy League Girls 8th Grade Metro Tournament Championships. Finally, while coaching at Mandeville High School, his team reached the LHSAA Div. 1 State Quarterfinalists.

Coach Winston has received the coaching honors of District Coach of the Year in 2010 and 2012.

Lewis earned his BS in Sports Management from American Public University in West Virginia. 

Winston is married to Mrs. Amanda (Mandy) Lewis, a golf coach in the Kansas City area, and they have two children, Aezienne (3) and Aezlynn (3).
