Spectator Policy

Kansas City, MO – The Calvary University Athletic Department has announced its Spectator Policy for home contests until December 31. Due to the ongoing pandemic, attendance will be extremely limited as additional safety precautions are put in place.

“It is with great caution and excitement that we will welcome limited spectators to Calvary home athletic events. The health and safety of our student-athletes, gameday staff, competitors and coaches is paramount,” said Calvary Director of Athletics Jeanette Regier. “This policy will be in place through the end of the calendar year, at which time it will be reevaluated in accordance with state, local and Calvary University guidance.”

Home games will be limited to essential game and team personnel, employees, Calvary University student-athletes, and coaches. Fans from opposing schools or community members will be not be allowed unless they appear on the pass list.
All student-athletes and coaches must reserve the names of their guests on a pass list at least twenty-four hours prior to the start of each contest by emailing [email protected]. Late changes may not be able to be accommodated. The Pyramid Athletic Center has 41 seats that are socially distanced. Calvary students and staff will be given these 41 tickets on a first come- first serve basis. Guests must bring a Calvary ID to gain entrance to each contest. The Pyramid Athletic Center will not be open to spectators until 30 minutes before the scheduled start time of the contest.

Seating will be reserved to ensure proper physical distancing of at least six feet between every group of spectators. All spectators are required to wear a mask properly covering nose and mouth at all times, indoors and outdoors.
Calvary Athletics requests that anyone not feeling well please stay home and watch our online broadcast.
The above regulations are in place to protect our student-athletes and help make athletic competition possible during the pandemic. Anyone unwilling to comply will be asked to leave the contest immediately. Calvary Game Management Personnel will be present to strictly enforce all these policies.
Sanitizing stations will be available at the entrances to the Calvary facilities and spectators are encouraged to use them before entering the gymnasium. Concessions will not be available. Sealed, pre-packaged snacks and bottles of water or soda are allowed.  Public restrooms will be open and wearing masks and physical distancing will be encouraged in these spaces.
